DR.D makes four-stroke exhaust pipes for virtually every hard-core motocross bike made (plus ATV's, Side-by-Sides and play bikes). DR.D invented "Step Technology," which has been copied by many other pipe builders and several factories. DR.D's exhaust pipes have won rave reviews--especially the CRF450, YZ450F and KTM 450SXF pipes (and the single-sided pipe for the CRF250)
Dr.D exhaust systems increase power throughout the RPM range. The unique attributes of the Dr.D Step System allow for a more efficient intake stroke. It does this by resisting the reflective exhaust pulse during the intake/exhaust overlap. In plain language, the carefully tuned steps in the system give a crisper throttle response from bottom to top. The key advantage of the Step System is improved low, mid and top end power. Each pipe is manufactured from 304-stainless steel and each silencer is manufactured from 6063 aluminum, titanium or carbon fibre. Together these give a fantastic combination of light weight and crash survivability. Rejetting is not required.

This shouldn't come as a surprise as the owner, designer, and test rider is none other than Doug Dubach himself. Doug's role in establishing 4-stroke dirt bikes is well known.
We started Dubach Racing Development with the goal to produce the best exhaust systems and related mx products that actually make your bike run better, not different. I have worked with the best, tested virtually every motocross bike make over the past 10 years, and still work hand in had with the Yamaha Testing division. Riding YZs and every other brand of motocross bike, continuing to learn and develop motorcycles and moving Dr.D forward is what I do. Throughout my career, I've been fortunate that my avocation has also been my vocation. We know the effort that must go into a product for it to perform at a level that exceeds, the admittedly, extremely good stock bikes and ATVs. Dustin Nelson 3x QuadCross Champion DRD's own ATV Brand Manager
Norco, CA. (November 24, 2009) - Dubach Racing Development (DR.D) congratulates Dustin Nelson for earning his 3rd QuadCross Championship. DRD's own ATV Brand Manager, Nelson, won the title with a nail biting performance during the final round at Glen Helen Raceway. Entering the final round second in the standings, "Nelly" once again brought his "A" game and captured the overall win for the day and, in turn, won his second-consecutive Championship.
The phrase, "He races what he sells" can't be overused when describing the 2010 season for Dustin Nelson. In addition to his job responsibilities at Dubach Racing developing exhaust and accessories, testing, marketing, and of course, racing, Nelson is also instrumental in his role as a Yamaha Factory Test Rider; developing many of the popular sport ATVs over the past decade, including the YFZ450R.
