Motocross gear Wossner motorbike pistons feature a unique Moly coating on the skirts which allows us to run a much closer piston to bore tolerance than other makes of piston, this helps remove the slapping noise during cold start, common place among engines running forged pistons due to larger then OE bore clearances. The crowns of the pistons are also mirror polished to better resist detonation on a high performance engine. Mirror polishing allows a more even spread of heat inside the chamber which will help prevent Â"hot spotsÂ" on piston crowns. Wonsser pistons are top of the line made in Germany. Wössner High quality forged pro pistons are largely constructed of 4032 (T6) Alloy. As standard all Wössner pistons come with a special Moly coated skirt to aid lubrication keep piston noise to minimum. Each set is provided with matched piston rings and daimond like coating (DLC) gudgeon pins and prices reflect a full engine set. Coated with dry glide series of low friction coatings, which offer excellent dry sliding properties for superior wear, corrosion and heat resistance. Reducing sliding friction by as much as 20% assists in increasing horsepower, lowering fuel consumption, tighter piston to bore clearance reducing engine noise and barrel wear.
